Licence Plate Recognition

From late April, Wollongong Central introduced a new Ticketless Parking system, which has rolled out across all three car parks. This upgrade uses Licence Plate Recognition to make parking faster, simpler and paper free.
 

Rollout Dates
Each car park switched over on its own launch date:
📅 21 April - P1 Keira car park (GREEN) 
📅 28 April - P3 Gateway car park (PINK)
📅 5 May - P2 Crown car park (ORANGE) 

Please follow signage when you arrive.

Our casual parking rates will remain the same and we will still be offering the usual 2 hours free parking on weekends, 90 minutes free when you spend over $20 at Coles, and free parking on public holidays as well as after 5.30pm (9pm on Thursdays). You will also still be able to pay with cash at a number of our pay machines in centre, and by card at any pay machine or at the exit.
