Nappies are a basic essential, yet for many families they are a daily struggle to afford. 

That’s why Wollongong Central is proud to support The Nappy Collective, a community-led not-for-profit helping families experiencing nappy stress across Australia.

By donating unused nappies, you’re directly supporting local families doing it tough, including those facing domestic violence, homelessness, financial hardship or seeking refuge.

All donations collected at Wollongong Central, located on level 1 at the Customer Service desk, are distributed through a network of 800+ charity partners, ensuring they reach families who need them most.

About The Nappy Collective

The Nappy Collective is a community-driven initiative, powered largely by volunteers and supported by committees across Australia. Since 2013, the organisation has worked to ensure every child has access to the nappies they need to stay clean, healthy and happy, while supporting families experiencing disadvantage through community mobilisation, fundraising and advocacy.

To date, The Nappy Collective has distributed over 8 million nappies to families in need across Australia.
